Friday’s reporting on COVID-19 showed the region had 76 additional cases, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
McKean County had 25 more cases for 979 total, with 7,028 negative tests and a total of 6 deaths.
Elk County had 34 additional cases for 801 total, with 4,166 negative tests and a total of 10 deaths.
Potter County had 6 additional cases for 389 total, with 2,122 negative tests and a total of 9 deaths.
Cameron County had 11 more cases for 58 total, with 677 negative tests and a total of 2 deaths.
In Bradford, there were 7 more cases for 302 confirmed and 83 probable; Kane had 6 more cases for 117 confirmed and 11 probable; Lewis Run had 1 additional case for 28 confirmed and 148 probable; Smethport had 4 additional cases for 72 confirmed and 6 probable; Eldred had at least 1 more for 34 confirmed and 1 to 4 probable; Port Allegany had 6 more cases for 62 confirmed and 8 probable;
In Elk County, St. Marys had 8 additional cases for 276 confirmed and 49 probable; Johnsonburg had 5 more cases for 66 confirmed and 19 probable; Ridgway had 6 more cases for 102 confirmed and 20 probable; Brockport had 1 more case for 25 confirmed and 11 probable; and Weedville had 2 more cases for 32 confirmed and 7 probable.
In Potter County, Coudersport had 2 more cases for 158 confirmed and 24 probable; Ulysses had 1 more case for 29 confirmed; Genesee has 1 more case for 27 confirmed; and Roulette had 2 more cases for 18 confirmed and 1 to 4 probable.
In Cameron County, Emporium had 7 more cases for 44 confirmed and 5 probable; while Driftwood and Sinnemahoning each have 1 to 4 confirmed cases.
In the state, there were 12,745 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 470,034.
As for long-term care facilities, Elk County has had 3 facilities with 92 cases among residents and 34 among staff, and a total of 3 deaths.
In McKean County, 8 facilities have had 126 cases among residents, 25 among staff and 2 deaths. In Potter County, 2 facilities have had 17 cases among residents and 8 among staff.
Cameron County had 1 facility with 2 COVID-19 cases in residents and 1 in staff.
Regarding hospitalizations, as of Friday’s reporting, Potter County had 15 patients hospitalized, with 3 ventilators in use. Elk County had 6 people hospitalized.
At Bradford Regional Medical Center, on Friday, there were 10 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 2 in intensive care and 8 in the medical unit. There were 2 patients under investigation, and 8 patients who tested negative.
In the state, there are 5,852 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. Of that number, 1,191 patients are in the intensive care unit with COVID-19. Most of the patients hospitalized are ages 65 or older, and most of the deaths have occurred in patients 65 or older.
As of Friday, there were 225 new deaths reported for a total of 12,235 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
