SMETHPORT — The McKean County Republican Committee will host a chicken barbecue to rally support for President Trump and other federal and state GOP candidates on Thursday, Aug. 20, starting at 4 p.m. at Hamlin Lake Park in Smethport.
Each dinner costs $10 and includes a half chicken, salad, beans, roll, drink and cupcake. Meals are available to go or to eat on-site.
Free Trump signs will be available while supplies last. Hats, flags and other merchandise will also be available for purchase.
Several area GOP candidates are scheduled to be on hand, including Rep. Marty Causer, state senate candidate Rep. Cris Dush and Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson.
