The USDA Forest Service Allegheny National Forest is currently reviewing requests from MSL Oil & Gas Corp. and Verizon Pennsylvania LLC to renew their special use authorizations in Elk, Forest, McKean, and Warren counties.

The special use authorizations being reviewed for renewal are MSL Oil & Gas Corporation is requesting a renewal for a 3,550 foot long 2-inch natural gas minor natural gas transmission line located in lot 261, Wetmore Township, McKean County; and Verizon Pennsylvania LLC is requesting a renewal for 86,407 feet of telephone and fiber optic line in multiple locations in Elk, Forest, McKean, and Warren counties.

The Forest Service is proposing to re-authorize the use and routine maintenance of these permits with no changes to location, scope, or intensity.
