A Be-On-The-Lookout alert for a Kane man led law enforcement officials to arrest the man over the weekend on drug delivery charges.
Kane Borough Police arrested Logan M. McGill, 25, of Hacker Street, on Friday in response to the BOLO alert out of Bradford Township, District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer announced in a press release.
Kane police stopped a vehicle driven by McGill at the corner of Welsh Street and Kinzua Avenue as it was entering Kane, she said. During that stop, police discovered a number of drug-related items, according to Shaffer.
She stated, “During the investigation, police seized a large zip-lock bag containing suspected marijuana; a large zip lock bag containing 16 individually wrapped bags of suspected marijuana; a small sandwich bag containing marijuana; a pill container containing a suspected controlled substance; a scale with calibration tool; multi-colored pipe and four plastic bags.”
The online court docket indicates McGill was arraigned before District Judge Dominic Cercone on 18 counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, felonies; six counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of paraphernalia, misdemeanors; driving under the influence of a controlled substance; and a summary charge of reckless driving.
McGill was committed to McKean County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
State police assisted on scene, said Shaffer.
No attorney is listed for McGill.
