A Bradford man accused of having sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl without her consent waived a preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Dominic Cercone.
Codi L.M. Veite, 18, of 174 Elm St., lower apartment, is charged with sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault without consent, both second-degree felonies; corruption of minors, a third-degree felony; and indecent assault without consent, a second-degree misdemeanor, court records stated.
Court records said at 2:30 a.m. Nov. 25, Veite had sex with the girl after she had told him no and tried to push him away several times. He told police he felt she was not OK with it and stopped after a few minutes, court records read.
Veite, who had been incarcerated in McKean County Jail in Smethport in lieu of $25,000 bail, was released Wednesday on unsecured bail.
