PORT ALLEGANY — Bree Garzel’s career-high 40 points powered Port Allegany to a 60-36 home win over Bradford Saturday for its seventh straight victory.
Garzel finished with a double-double, bringing down 14 rebounds with four steals and three assists. Jade Evens recorded 10 rebounds and six blocks to go along with her two points, while Evin Stauffer had four points, nine rebounds and four assists for the Lady Gators (9-4).
Garzel scored 29 of her 40 points in the first half and finished with six 3-pointers.
For Bradford, the Lady Owls (3-8) were led by Hannah Lary’s 19 points, while Alanna Benson chipped in eight.

Cameron County 42, Ridgway 25
RIDGWAY — A strong defensive effort and 24 combined points from Hailey Hilfiger and Kaelee Bresslin resulted in a 17-point win for Cameron County over Ridgway.
The Lady Raiders (10-8) held Ridgway to just eight first half points on their way to victory and gained control of the boards. Hilfiger finished with eight rebounds, while Morgan Lorenzo and Bresslin each hauled in six. Mallory McKimm recorded five boards herself and Bresslin also had three assists.
“We did a great job controlling the boards, both ways,” Cameron County coach Dave Sullivan said. “Kaelee had a great floor game running and creating offense for her team.”
Julia Peterson was the Lady Elkers’ (0-5) top scorer with 15 points, 11 of which were scored in the second half.

AUSTIN — A 14-3 fourth quarter run by Austin was the difference in the Panthers’ one-point win over Port Allegany.
The Gators (3-8) led Austin by 10 points going into the fourth, before the Panthers (6-7) went on their run. Port’s lone three points in the fourth came at the buzzer.
Jackson Glover scored nine of his game-high 13 points in the fourth, while Aydan Nicka and Jacob Hooftallen finished with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Leading the Gators was Carter Moses with a team-high 10 points, as Drew Evens tallied nine points.

COUDERSPORT — A team-high 26 points from Hayden Keck paved the way for a Coudersport win over Elk Catholic on Saturday.
All of Keck’s 26 points were scored in the first three quarters as the Falcons (9-2) stretched their lead from nine points at halftime to 14 heading into the fourth.
Derek Easton also finished in double figures for Coudy with 17 points, while also Christian Furman added 12. Dalton Keglovits scored seven of his 11 points in the fourth quarter.
Mark Kraus dropped a game-high 28 points for the Crusaders (13-3) in the loss, as Mason McAllister tallied 10 and Charlie Breindl and Luke Jansen each recorded nine.
