Lady Owls defeat St. Marys, 98-41, to end regular season

Bradford finished the season at 4-3 with a win over St. Marys Thursday.
Leading the Lady Owls were Olivia Funk, with wins in the 100 hurdles and as part of the 400 relay; Alyssa Mangold with wins in the long jump and 400 relay; Emma Pilon with a win in the high jump and 400 relay; Aliya Corignani with a win in the 300 hurdles and 400 relay and Jenn Bouquin with wins in the 1600 and as part of the 1600 relay.

“It was good to have last home meet and get to allow our athletes to compete at home. A number of girls were able to earn their letter,” Bradford Coach Larry Stillman said. “Olivia Aliya Emma and Alyssa had their usual good nights and are peaking toward the district meet. Addie had a good 400 open and Madison Dinch and Karissa Chamberlain each scored in 3 events.

The Lady Owls will return to action May 15 at the District IX meet in Brookville.

“This was the final dual meet for our seniors; Jennifer Bouquin, Addison Carter, Forest Davis, Madison Vinelli and Joleen Weimer. We are looking forward to the competition, and we will work hard to get ready all next week,” Stillman said.
