LEGAL NOTICE

The McKean County Commissioners are accepting letters of interest and resumes from qualified attorneys for appointment to the position of County Solicitor.

The County Solicitor serves as the chief legal officer for the County, providing legal counsel to the Board of Commissioners.

– Representing the County in legal proceedings

– Drafting and reviewing contracts, ordinances, and resolutions

– Advising on compliance with federal, state, and local laws

– Overseeing litigation and coordinating with outside counsel as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

– Licensed attorney admitted to practice in the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

– Experience preferably in municipal or governmental law

– Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills
