INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Downtown Bradford Revitalization Corporation (DBRC) will receive bids for the West Washington Street New Home Construction and Installation of Sewer Line until 2:00 p.m. on April 8, 2026 at the Office of Economic and Community Development (OECD), 20 Russell Boulevard, Bradford, PA 16701. Sealed bids will be opened and read at 2:00 p.m. on April 8, 2026 in the OECD Conference Room.

Bids are invited for the construction of two new homes and the installation of a new sewer line to serve the homes in a new subdivision on West Washington Street Contract documents, including the home plans/ drawings and sewer line drawings along with the Technical Specifications, are available at the Office of Economic and Community Development, 20 Russell Boulevard, Bradford, PA 16701. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the DBRC as having obtained the Contract Documents.

Cash, certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the DBRC or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to provide evidence of liability/worker’s compensation insurance and a Statement of Qualifications with their bid.

Bids shall be submitted on forms prescribed and bids may be held by the DBRC for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for opening thereof, or before award of contract unless said award is delayed for a period of more than 45 days.

The DBRC reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids and any part of the bid, as the same is permitted by law.
