BID NOTICE

James Kazimer and the McKean County Conservation District (MCCD) are accepting bids for the installation of a roofed heavy use area and manure stacking facility with related BMPs. This project follows the provisions for prevailing wage.

A mandatory pre-bid site showing will be held on March 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM at 977 Pine Grove Road, Port Allegany, PA 16743. Interested bidders must pre-register for the pre-bid site showing by contacting MCCD at (814)887-4003 or accauser@mckeancountypa.gov by March 27, 2026 in order to receive a hard copy of the bid package during the pre-bid site showing.

All bids must be received at the MCCD office by Noon on April 22, 2026 at which time the bids will be opened. A 10% bid bond and 110% performance bond are required along with proof of liability and workers compensation insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.

James Kazimer and MCCD shall at all times reserve the right to reject any and all bids. All bids are contingent upon the property owner’s acceptance and approval.
