With the impeachment trial of President Trump starting in earnest, it makes me wonder just how far our political system has fallen into the abyss of trying to “get” a political opponent.

It doesn’t seem to matter if you are a Democrat or a Republican, because the governing system has broken down. Ever since all of the BS that took place during the Watergate hearings, members of both parties seem to play a game of who can get dirt on the other, instead of doing what they were elected to do — run the country without all of that vendettas against each other.

In my opinion, both political parties are guilty of vendettas.
