PORT ALLEGANY — The S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library is partnering with Child Hunger Outreach Partners (CHOP) to provide a free summer snack to all children ages 1 through 18. Any child may come to the library during operating hours to pick up a healthy snack, beginning Wednesday, June 1 and lasting until Aug. 23.
“We would like to thank the Port Allegany Women’s Club for making a donation towards the purchase of milk for snacks,” said a representative of the library.
Individuals who would like to donate to the cost of beverages (single serve water, milk or 100% juice) for snacks, contact Mary Grace at the library by phone, (814) 642-9210.
