KANE — A Bradford man is in McKean County Jail for allegedly injuring children while throwing a glass plate at someone else.

George C. Krouse, 22, of 193 W. Washington St., upper, is charged with two counts of assault, first-degree misdemeanors, and of recklessly endangering another person, second-degree misdemeanors.

According to the criminal complaint, on Saturday, Krouse was involved in an argument with his brother when he threw a glass dinner plate at him. The plate missed his brother and struck his 4-year-old nephew in the face and then struck a baby walker where his 10-month-old niece was seated. Both children had injuries from either the plate or broken glass from the plate, the complaint stated.

Krouse was arraigned before on-call District Judge David Engman and jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail. A preliminary hearing in the case is set for Nov. 17 before District Judge Dom Cercone.
