Outdoors: Gold in dark waters
The first day of trout season is always a special event for many. After the long winter it's a chance to get back outdoors and enjoy fishing once again. Good fortune smiled on me the first day as I hold up a beautifully marked golden trout caught on my ultralight with 4-pound test near Smethport.
