Linda Katherine Monti, 73, of Erie and Bradford died at her home Monday (Aug. 4, 2025), surrounded by loved ones.

Linda graduated in 1969 from Bradford Central Christian High School. Further education included Robert Morris University, Coriapolis; a Bachelor of Arts from West Liberty University, West Liberty, W.Va.; and a Master of Arts from Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, Ky.

Throughout her life, she had many and various positions, most notably with the American Red Cross Blood Services in Louisville, Ky., WSEE TV 35 in Erie and, most recently, the Area Transportation Authority in Bradford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony F. Monti and Alice Williamson Monti; a brother-in-law, Roger H. Pfeiffer from North Las Vegas; and many beloved first cousins.

Linda is survived by her lifelong companion, Janet Rhea Price of Erie; her brother, Dominic V. Monti OFM of St. Bonaventure University, St. Bonaventure, N.Y.; and her sister, Susan M. Pfeiffer of North Las Vegas. She also leaves behind her niece, Charlene (John) Drapp and family; and her nephew, James (Yulonda) Burns and family. She also leaves behind a lifetime of cherished friends.

Linda’s hobbies included a lifetime of sports activities. She was involved in league bowling, summer ladies’ and co-ed softball leagues. Her greatest accomplishments were running five marathons. Other hobbies include caring for her indoor plants, doing puzzles and reading.

Burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery in Erie. Arrangements are being handled by Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc.
