ST. MARYS — The Elk County Democratic Committee will host a Weekend of Action coinciding with St. Marys’ Bavarian Fall Fest this weekend.

The committee will open its 2024 Victory Headquarters, 210 Brusselles St., throughout the weekend to host two candidate meet-and-greet events Saturday along with a canvassing of neighborhoods throughout Elk County.

At 11 a.m. Saturday, William McGill of Clinton County, candidate for the 25th District in the Pennsylvania State Senate, will be at Headquarters to meet with area voters, answer questions and speak to those attending.

Starting at 11:30 a.m., Zack Womer of Centre County, candidate for United States Congress, 15th District, will join him for his own meet and greet.

The committee will provide pizza and drinks, and have literature and yard signs available for all its candidates. The canvas event will launch from headquarters at noon. All area Democrats and those who want to learn more about the party’s candidates are encouraged to stop by.
