The latest additions to the rosters for Pennsylvania and New York for the Bid 30 All-Star Charities Classic were released on Monday.
The group includes 10 players, five each for Pennsylvania and New York. Eisenhower has two players represented on the Pa. side and Pioneer has three players added for the New York team.

Ridgway Area High School

Alex plans to enter the work force after graduation. He is on the principal’s honor roll and is a high honor roll student. He was named Ridgway’s Lineman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. He is a 3-year letterman in football, a 2-year letterman in basketball, and a 1-year letterman in tennis. He is looking forward to playing one last football game as part of the Pennsylvania Big 30 team. His favorite memory while playing football was being able to play alongside his brother during his sophomore year. His hobbies include basketball, football, and art club. His favorite NFL team is the Philadelphia Eagles, and his favorite player is Brian Dawkins.
Otto-Eldred

Braxton plans to attend Pitt-Bradford, major in Sports Medicine, and play basketball for the Panthers. In 2023, he was named Defensive Lineman of the Year in District 9, Region 3. He was also named to the Big 30 Athletic Fund third team in basketball in 2023 and named to the Big 30 Athletic Fund first team in basketball in 2024. He was a 2-time District 9 all-star in football and an NTL All-Star in basketball. He was Otto-Eldred’s Lineman of the Year in 2022. He wants to play in the Big 30 Charities Classic game because he always enjoyed watching the annual game since he was a kid. His favorite memory playing was his first touchdown against Bucktail his junior year. His hobbies include working out football and basketball. His favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers, and his favorite player is T.J. Watt.

Cameron plans to enter the State Trooper Academy after graduation. He is a High Honor Roll student at Johnsonburg Area High School. He worked to earn multiple Player of the Game awards. He was the team MVP in 2023 and offensive MVP in 2022. He says the Big 30 Game gives him the chance to play with some of the buddies he grew up with one last time. His favorite moment playing football was when Brady returned a kick for a touchdown. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, lifting, and hanging out with friends. His favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Kris plans to play college football and earn his degree in Communications. He plans to become a sports broadcaster, as well as join a golf league and win millions sports betting. He was twice named to the All-Region team as a tight end and equaled that tally as a 2-time all-district 10 all-Star tight end. In addition, he is a high honor roll student. Kris says his cousin and several teammates played in the Big 30 game, so it is just something he has strived to experience himself. His favorite memory playing football was setting a school record for receiving touchdowns in a season, as well as tying the school record for receiving touchdowns in a game. His hobbies include golf, gaming with the boys, and live broadcasting. His favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers, and his favorite player was Ben Roethlisberger.

Shawn plans to enter college to get a degree in business. After college he is going to create his own golf course and make bank. His plans are to get married, have children, and have a massive house. He was named 2024 Region Player of the Year and received All-Region All-Star awards as a quarterback and free safety. He chose to accept his invitation to the Big 30 Game to share the field with his boys one last time and to create bonds with players from other schools. His favorite football memory was having an undefeated regular season and competing for a district title his junior year. His hobbies are hunting, fishing, and golfing, even though he says he’s not very good at golfing. His favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers, and his favorite player was Troy Polamalu.

Peter plans to enter college to major in Environmental Conservation. He made the second team all-league on defense and earned the J. C. Matteson/Tom Calzone Award as well. Peter is an honor roll student at Southwestern. He is a member of the SWHS orchestra, as a cello player. He was also the SWHS football team captain, SWHS Wrestling team-Captain, placing in Sectionals, SWHS baseball team captain, Southwestern Youth Wrestling Program volunteer and mentor, and a Lakewood Library Volunteer. Peter is an avid outdoorsman and conservation advocate. He is a Holy Apostles Member and Communicant, member of Boy Scout Troop 177- Celeron Legion Herman Kent Post 777, Eagle Scout Applicant, nominee for Boy Scout of the Year Award. He is looking forward to playing his favorite sport with new and different people to hopefully learn from each other. His best football memory was the late-night practices with his team. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, football, baseball, wrestling, and skiing. His favorite NFL football team is the Buffalo Bills, and his favorite player is Jordan Mailata.

Owen plans to enter the Electricians’ Union after graduation. He was named the Titan team Defensive MVP in 2023-24 and the Titan baseball team MVP as well in 2023-24. He says it’s an honor to play in the Big 30 Game, partly because his brothers and father also played in the game. His best memories were playing with his friends. His hobby is working out in the gym. His favorite NFL team is the Buffalo Bills and his favorite player is Aaron Donald.

Nathan plans to enter Alfred State College and major in Psychology. He is a Scholar Athlete and a Connolly Cup Player of the week winner. He was also named Class B1 All-WNY. He wants to play in the Big 30 Game so he can prove why he should be there. His favorite memory was when his coaches put pads on for a team drill when he was 10. His hobbies are working out, snowboarding, and playing Rainbow Six Siege. His favorite NFL team is the Buffalo Bills.

Gavin plans to enter Genesee Community College for two years and major in General Studies. Upon completion of those two years, he plans to transfer to a bigger college for two more years to study Music Production. He received a Scholar Athlete Award at Pioneer High School. He was the team’s offensive line MVP. He also received a Character Award from cross country athletics. He is looking forward to playing one more game with his friends. His favorite football memories were playing the games with his friends and going to the stadium. His hobbies are making music and working out. His favorite NFL team is the Baltimore Ravens and his favorite player is Roquan Smith.

Jake will be receiving his Heavy Equipment Operation Certification and hopes to join a union. His athletic honors were Most Valuable Linebacker, Class B1 All-Star, Defensive Player of the Year 2022, and baseball MVP. He is glad to have the opportunity to play a sport he loves, while raising money for a good cause. His favorite football memory is a playoff game against Health and Science Charter School at the Bills stadium, where he had the first interception on the first play of the game. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, and hanging out with friends. His favorite NFL team is the Buffalo Bills and his favorite player is Matt Milano.
