The Lutheran Home at Kane, recently approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to be a Certified Nurse Aide Training Program location, announced the graduation of its first class. The three-and-a-half-week course comprises classroom time as well as hands-on clinical skills working with residents. The next class will be held in May. Marie Goode, director of nursing; Thomas, assistant director of nursing; and Joshnick, director of quality/wound nurse, completed the requirements to be certified program instructors.
