TOPS 16
TOPS 16 was held at the First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday.
The meeting was opened by leader Dianna Lewis with the TOPS Pledge. The song was “Happy Birthday” to November members.
Weight recorder Carole VanSickle and assistant weight recorder Barb Smead weighed 14 members with a loss of 9.6 pounds. One member was excused and one is to keep a food chart.
The best loser of the week is Jamie Larson, who was also the best loser in waiting. Carole VanSickle was the officer of the week.
The month of October had six eligible with a loss of 25.8 pounds and one staying the same with Jamie Larson as best loser.
The secretary report was read by Nan Stoling. The smile was by Jessie Skillman. The fruit is blueberries and the vegetable is cauliflower. The food to avoid is ice cream. The nickelodeon was sausage. The food chart was won by Carole VanSickle.
The inspiration was by Elaine Harris, the fashion tip by Dianna Lewis, the household tip by Chris McCracken and the joke by Jeanne Lowe. The winners of the dice contest were Jeanne Lowe and Dianna Lewis. The new contest is bingo.
The program was a word finder about Halloween, and a round of exercising.
The meeting was adjourned with the TOPS Prayer.
TOPS 16 meets Wednesdays at the First Presbyterian Church on West Corydon Street. Weigh-in is from 11 a.m. to 12:55 p.m., and the meeting is between 1 and 1:45 p.m.
