ERIE — The Bradford girls soccer team traveled to Erie Veterans Memorial Stadium on Thursday and walked out with a 13-5 victory.
Bella Prince started the scoring for the Lady Owls in the fourth minute off of a feed from Kelsea Austin. Austin doubled the lead two minutes later after receiving a long pass from Maddi Cowburn, then Cowburn added the next two goals and pushed Bradford to an early 7-0 lead.
Cowburn and Austin ended up with five goals each and Prince recorded a hat trick. Cowburn also added four assists, bringing her career total to 97.
Prince, Austin and Emily Morgan each had two assists, while Grace Tyler also added an assist. Maddy Stark and Riley Baldwin combined for the victory in net for Bradford.
“We have some work to do defensively to prepare for a couple of tough games next week,” Bradford head coach Jim Warnick said. “It was a good game for us to get everybody involved and in and try a few things, even though it meant giving up a goal here and there.”
The Lady Owls (7-1) return home Monday to face perennial rival Warren before traveling to District 9 rival DuBois next Saturday.
GIRLS TENNIS
Bradford 4, Brockway 3
BROCKWAY — Lilly Kemick continued her strong play at second singles, beating Leah Trunzo in straight sets to lead Bradford over Brockway.
Kemick teamed up with Sophia Wright at second doubles to earn Wright’s first varsity win. Sydney Hamer and Isabella Ramos won at third singles, picking up Ramos’ first varsity win, while Eli Curcio defeated Kassi Tucker at fourth singles.
Ava Peterson added an exhibition win for the Lady Owls.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Port Allegany 3, Austin 0
AUSTIN — Madeline Smith entered Thursday’s match needing one kill to reach 500 in her career, and the senior got it done early in a four-set victory over Austin (20-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-18).
Smith finished the night with 15 kills, 14 service points and 12 digs, while Kayleigha Dowell added 19 points and six aces. Jocelyn Mareen had 18 points and three aces for Port, Ella Mosses had 12 digs, 10 points, three blocks and seven kills, and Leigha Nelson recorded 31 assists, 15 points and three kills.
Ella Brewer led Austin with 26 digs, four kills and four aces. Savannah Horton had eight kills, 12 digs and two aces, while Jade Williams tacked on six kills, five aces and five digs.
Oswayo Valley 3, Cameron County 0
EMPORIUM — Olivia Cook turned in 16 kills, six points and two blocks to power Oswayo Valley over Cameron County in straight sets (25-14, 25-11, 25-16).
Praylan Perkins added 10 kills, four points, 11 digs and a block for OV, while Avaree Kellert recorded eight kills, 12 pionts and 11 digs. Trinity Lundy tacked on three kills, five points and 33 assists.
BOYS SOCCER

Northern Potter 0
ULYSSES — Micah Batson’s hat trick helped power Coudersport over Northern Potter.
Jacob Hooftallen added two goals for the Falcons, while Isabel Porterfield tacked on a goal. Braidyn Rumsey made three saves for Coudy and Malachi Lewis made 18 saves for NoPo.
JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL
Brockway 42, Bradford 14
Tommy Langdon rushed for 40 yards and a touchdown while adding 10 defensive tackles and a forced fumble in Bradford’s loss to Brockway.
Braylon Austin completed 4-of-6 pass attempts for 61 yards and a touchdown, while Kolton Miller made three catches for 60 yards and a score and made eight tackles on defense.
Max McCall led the Bradford defense with 11 tackles, including two for a loss, while Jase Geist made six tackles including three for a loss. Brody Havland had 54 rushing yards and seven tackles, Lucas Wallace had 10 rushing yards and a two-point conversion, and Myles Bundy recovered a fumble.
Cameron County 37, Coudersport 28
EMPORIUM — Sonny Fregali scored five total touchdowns, leading Cameron County over Coudersport.
Fregali broke off touchdown runs of 80, 56 and 45 yards while also adding kickoff return touchdowns of 80 and 73 yards. He kicked an extra point, as well.
Jacob Matheson added a 40-yard run for CC, while Lucas Fowler and Coleman Freeman each scored two touchdowns and added a two-point conversion for Coudy.
