SMETHPORT — After Austin took a 2-1 set lead over Smethport (25-13, 25-21, 13-25), a power outage postponed the remainder of the game.
Ella Brewer led Austin with 26 digs while Savannah Horton added eight digs and 11 service points. Jade Williams tacked on eight kills for Austin, while Marah Fowler added 18 assists, six digs and four kills.
Dani Nelson paced Smethport with four aces, six points, eight digs, four kills and a block. Coryn McClain added 11 digs, two bills, three points, an ace and a block. Baylee Fitzsimmons recorded 28 digs, three points, two aces and an assist for the Lady Hubbers, while Madi Faes had 11 assists, three blocks, two points, an ace and a kill, and Kaylee Swanson tacked on nine digs, five kills and two points.
Galeton 3, Coudersport 1
COUDERSPORT — Galeton won a long game on the road, beating Coudersport in four sets (25-15, 18-25, 25-15, 25-23).
Sierra Myers led Coudy with nine kills, two aces, one dig and one block. Mackenzie Gentzyel was right behind her with 13 digs, one ace and one kill. Savannah Myers chipped in with nine digs and seven kills.
Coudersport plays on Saturday before starting the playoffs next week.
Port Allegany 3,
Cameron County 0
PORT ALLEGANY — Madeline Smith recorded 14 kills, 10 digs, 10 service points and two aces to lead Port Allegany over Cameron County in straight sets (25-16, 25-14, 25-21).
Kayleigha Dowell added 22 points, six aces and seven kills for the Lady Gators while Cheyenne Crowe tacked on 14 points and five aces. Leigha Nelson would record 24 assists for Port, while Ella Moses had 10 kills and three blocks.
Aubree Lorenzo and Caitlyn Palumbo led CC, each totaling six points and three kills.
