Three counties in the region reported a total of 26 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, while Cameron County’s totals stayed the same for another day.
McKean County reported 15 new cases for a total of 3,392; 2,570 confirmed and 822 probable cases. There have been 67 deaths in the county due to COVID-19, and 10,616 negative tests have been conducted.
Elk County reported four new cases for a total of 2,761; 1,504 confirmed and 1,257 probable. There have been 6,127 negative tests conducted and 38 deaths in the county.
In Potter County, seven new cases have been reported for a total of 1,042 cases. There are 902 confirmed and 140 probable, while 3,381 negative tests have been conducted and 23 deaths have been reported.
Cameron County remains at 286 cases of COVID-19. There have been seven deaths due to COVID-19.
The statewide totals are as follows: currently there are 1,122,662 total reported cases in Pennsylvania, including 947,323 confirmed and 175,339 probable. The Pennsylvania Department of Health states that 4,322,029 negative tests were conducted and 89% of those with COVID within the state have recovered.
Pennsylvania has 2,808 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, 571 adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU); 281 patients on ventilators.
Elk County currently has two patients hospitalized with COVID-19, none in the ICU and McKean has one patient hospitalized with COVID-19 but not in the ICU. Potter County has two patients hospitalized with the coronavirus but none in the ICU.
As for vaccines, Pennsylvania has 4,602.578 partial vaccinations administered and 2,969,315 fully vaccinated residents for a total of 7,571,893 vaccines given.
Cameron County has 386 partially vaccinated and 1,381 fully vaccinated residents as of Thursday, while Elk County has completed 2,426 partial vaccinations and 10,033 full vaccinations. McKean County has administered 5,481 first doses of the vaccine and has fully vaccinated 6,543 individuals.
Potter County has administered 650 partial vaccinations and 2,106 full vaccinations.
