PORT ALLEGANY — Back-to-back six-run innings for Port Allegany led to the Gators rolling past Cameron County for a 15-1 win in five innings on Tuesday.
Isaiah Caden and Drew Benson each recorded three RBI on the afternoon, as Trey Ayers and Payton Spencer each batted in two runs of their own
Sawyer Prince, Drew Evens, Ian Dynda and Blaine Moses each recorded an RBI for the Gators (4-4) as well.
On the mound, Evens allowed just three hits and an unearned run while striking out nine batters in four innings of work.
Eastyn Solveson, who allowed 12 hits and 15 runs (three earned) for Cameron County, scored the Red Raiders’ lone run of the game. Jesop Farabaugh recorded the RBI. Cameron County also committed five errors in the loss.
