On Monday, the Pennsylvania Department of Health reported 32 additional cases of COVID-19 for the region.
There were 19 new cases of COVID-19 in McKean County for a total of 2,568 — 1,937 confirmed and 631 probable. There have been a total of 54 deaths.
Elk County had six new cases of COVID-19 for a total of 2,064 — 1,137 confirmed and 927 probable. There have been 31 deaths.
In Potter County, there were six new cases for a total of 805 — 710 confirmed and 95 probable. There have been 18 deaths.
In Cameron County, there was one new case for 229 total — 159 confirmed and 70 probable. There have been seven deaths.
As of Monday, there were a total of 20,664 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Monday stated there were 3,976 additional positive cases of COVID-19, in addition to 3,934 new cases reported Sunday, for a two-day total of 7,910, bringing the statewide total to 807,867.
In Lewis Run, there were 89 confirmed cases and 288 probable. In Bradford, there were 13 more cases for 786 confirmed and 149 total; Kane, 2 more, 274 confirmed, 68 probable; Smethport, 3 more, 264 confirmed, 33 probable; and Port Allegany reported in at 169 confirmed and 14 probable.
In Elk County, St. Marys had one more case for 513 confirmed, 391 probable; Johnsonburg, one more, 117 confirmed, 64 probable; Wilcox, one more, 27 confirmed, 27 probable; and Kersey was up to 77 confirmed and 92 probable.
In Potter County, Coudersport had one additional case for 282 confirmed, 43 probable; Shinglehouse, two more, 120 confirmed, 21 probable; Genesee, one more, 58 confirmed; and one in Austin for 61 confirmed and 20 probable. It was unclear where the other additional case was.
In Cameron County, one additional case was reported in Sinnemahoning.
According to the health department on Monday, there were 3,910 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. Of that number, 790 patients are in the intensive care unit with COVID-19.
In McKean County, there were three patients hospitalized; in Elk County, one patient; and in Potter County, five hospitalized, two in intensive care.
In nursing and personal care homes, there are 61,629 resident cases of COVID-19, and 11,593 cases among employees, for a total of 73,222 at 1,529 distinct facilities in all 67 counties.
In McKean County, there were nine facilities reporting 340 cases among residents, 102 among staff and 30 deaths. In Elk County, there were three facilities reporting 116 cases among residents, 49 among staff and seven deaths.
In Potter County, there were three facilities reporting 34 cases among residents and 15 among staff. And in Cameron County, one facility reported 33 cases among residents, nine among staff and one death.
