GET PAID TO EAT CANDY: A Canadian candy distributor, Candy Funhouse, wants to hire people to eat candy for a year.
The company hopes to hire two full-time candy testers and eight part-timers. For anyone looking for a sweet new career — albeit a temporary one — here’s your chance.
The full-time positions are located in Ontario, Canada, so they will require relocation. The pay is $30 per hour. The part-time positions pay $26 an hour and are available as a remote occupation.
The company said it is hoping to expand the full-time positions in the future to include remote work.
Candy Funhouse also said, “The candidates that are chosen will play an integral role in selecting the candies that will be a part of the first ever Candy Funhouse branded candy line.
Ten new and original candy creations will be selected and narrowed down from numerous possible options. So not only will you get to taste candy all year long, you also get to brag to your friends that you helped create the Candy Funhouse line of candies.”
The deadline to apply is Feb. 15. Visit https://candyfunhouse.ca/pages/careers to apply.

WIENERMOBILE DRIVER: If candy isn’t your thing, then maybe your new career involves driving the Oscar Mayer wienermobile. The drivers of said vehicle are called hotdoggers, and Oscay Mayer is on the lookout for new employees to fill the role.
The Oscar Mayer website advertises the job by saying, “We could say “drivers wanted,” but what we really mean is WIENERMOBILE navigators ready to deliver unlimited joy to thousands of people every single day.”
The job is a full-time, paid one-year assignment. It involves multi-state travel and applicants are encouraged to have a BA or BS, preferably in public relations, journalism, communications, advertising, or marketing, although the site does clarify that applicants are not limited to these degrees.
