Area residents can enjoy a garden walk at the home of Gary and Pat Drummond-Colley, from noon to 6 p.m., on both Friday and Saturday.
The flower garden can be found at 34 Cornelius Lane, which can be accessed via Bolivar Drive in the 500-block.
Perennial plants will be available for sale, but the walk is free.
Pat and her daughter, Denise Drummond, are the writers and illustrators of the self-published work, My Grama’s Garden. The book, their first, was published in 2011 and won three awards, including the Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Children’s Picture Book by The Independent Book Publishers Association and the Moonbeam Award for Best First Book, both in 2012.
