Rural Pa. can open

State Sen. Joe Scarnati is right. Some counties like McKean, Warren, Forest, Elk and Potter, which have single-digit or low double-digit cases of coronavirus, should not be treated like Philadelphia or Pittsburgh hot spots.

Gov. Tom Wolf, in his effort to maintain tight control of Pennsylvania, is to face a rising tide of public resistance.

We would face a spontaneous reopening as more people tire of the governor’s iron-fisted control.

Crack open the floodgate or lose the dam.
