EMPORIUM — Three pins and a tech fall keyed Bradford over Cameron County in Allegheny Mountain Wrestling League action Thursday.
Leading the Owls on the mats were two wrestlers with pins in less than a minute: Lukas Laktash, who wrestled at 126, Elijah Fitton, who wrestled at 132.
Other wins for the Owls came at 145, with Brett Thomson claiming a tech fall, and at 152, with Drake Hayden pinning Cameron County’s Dein Snyder in 1:05.
“They were worse off than we were are (with forfeits and injuries), and we tried some different things, and looked really well,” Bradford head coach Jamey Miller said. “Going to West Branch Tournament (today), hopefully the experience from what they have done different will carry over.”
Cameron County, now 1-4 on the season, will travel to Port Allegany Jan. 30.
