Regarding the letter to the editor written by a woman who believes a police department is needed in Eldred Township, if she is having so many problems with trespassing, then she must know who the party or parties are.
Go and file charges against them. But don’t ask other people to dig deeper in the socks to pay for something we already have.
As far as calling the state police, they do have other calls to go to, but they will respond. As for as the Pennsylvania Game Commission, that department, in my book, should be abolished.
Meanwhile, stop and think if there were a police department in the township. We would have to pay not only wages but for a car and insurance. I am against any new bills added to my budget.
Sorry, I’m against any police department and more bills.
