UPPER ALLEGHENY ALZHEIMER SUPPORT GROUP will meet at 5:30 p.m. today at Bradford Area Public Library. Alzheimer’s Association caregiver support groups are conducted by trained facilitators for caregivers, family and friends of those with dementia to develop a support system, exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions, talk through issues and ways of coping, share feelings, needs and concerns and learn about community resources. ART REFLECTION for children in first through sixth grade will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Bradford Area Public Library.
Members of the club will study the works of Dutch post-impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh and create self-portraits on canvas with acrylic paints. Participants must pre-register for this club and space is limited to 15 students.
