Peggy Kallenborn, president of the Church Women United, is pictured with Susan Roboski and her husband, Leonard, and some of the more than 50 purses and backpacks that were collected by the group for the Purse Project. New and gently used purses were collected and filled with items such as toiletries, hygiene products, snacks and more to be given to those in need. This was the summer project for the Church Women United. The purses will be donated to the YWCA Victims’ Resource Center.
