The one-room schoolhouse at historic Crook Farm on Seaward Avenue got freshened up with a paint job Thursday by a crew of workmen led by Bill Robertson. The schoolhouse, believed to have been built in 1850 or later, had been located on West Corydon Street extension before it was moved to the historic farm, owned by Bradford Landmark Society, in 1975. The house is used every spring to teach school children from northwestern Pennsylvania and nearby New York state the lessons taught to students in the mid-1800s and early 1900s.
