    Lady Wolves claim AML North crown

    RIDGWAY — Kane clinched the AML North title with another dominating performance on Wednesday night, defeating Ridgway 53-27.

    Ella Marconi led all scorers with 20 points, and Trinity Clark hit four three-pointers to finish with 15 of her own. Marconi also added four blocks and 10 rebounds for a double-double.

    Emily Fullem had 15 points in the first half for Ridgway, but was held to just four in the final 16 minutes as the Lady Wolves clamped down defensively. Kane allowed just eight points total over the final two quarters.

    Kane (16-1, 7-0) have now pushed their win streak to 12 consecutive games. The Wolves finally return home on Friday against DuBois CC after a five-game road trip.

     

    Cameron County 62, Austin 15

    AUSTIN — A dominant all-around performance helped Cameron County win its fifth-straight game on Wednesday night.

    Alyvia McKimm hit seven 3-pointers en route to a game-high 23 points for the Lady Red Raiders.

    Jordan Brewer was Austin’s leading scorer with nine points.

    Cameron County (9-10 overall, 9-4 NTL) hosts Otto-Eldred on Friday, while Austin (0-16, 0-12 NTL) travels to Oswayo Valley on Friday.

     

    Northern Potter 51, Port Allegany 32

    ULYSSES — The Lady Panthers won their third game in a row on Wednesday to improve to 8-4 in NTL play.

    Kailey Cowburn scored a game-high 23 points for Northern Potter, while Rebecca Morgan and Mikayla Lewis both scored 10 points.

    Cailey Barnett led Port Allegany with 14 points.

    Northern Potter’s (11-5 overall) next game will be against the same Lady Gators team, this time at Port Allegany on Monday.

    Port Allegany (5-10 overall, 4-6 NTL), meanwhile, hosts Galeton on Friday.
