SMETHPORT — A jury found a Bradford man guilty of indecent exposure allegations at a one-day trial on Wednesday in McKean County Court.
Codi L.M. Veite, 19, was convicted of all counts against him, including unlawful contact with a minor, a third-degree felony; indecent exposure, a first-degree misdemeanor; and open lewdness, a third-degree misdemeanor, said District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer.
Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade prosecuted the case on behalf of the commonwealth, and Veite was represented by Philip Clabaugh of the public defender’s office, Shaffer said.
Veite will be sentenced Jan. 18.
According to court records filed at the time of his arrest, Bradford City Police responded to a report of indecent exposure on Pearl Street. Veite allegedly showed his genitals to a 13-year-old, 15-year-old and 17-year-old who were outside in front of a house. He allegedly made several comments referencing sexual intercourse to the teens, and told the teens he could be a “porn star.”
