COUDERSPORT — Coudersport-based state police are asking the public for help identifying the person who left a box of kittens alongside a road, where all three had died.
Police were called at 7:42 a.m. Monday to the northeast corner of the intersection of Route 449 and Whitney Hill Road in Genesee Township, where a box of dead kittens had been found. Two were calico and one was gray, police said. The kittens appeared to have died from exposure to the elements about two days prior to when they were found, police said.
Anyone with information should contact the Coudersport barracks at 274-8690.
