KANE — Charges against an Eldred man were dismissed Monday at a preliminary hearing scheduled to take place before District Judge David Engman.
Shannon E. Shroyer, 47, was charged with one count of failing to verify address/be photographed as required under Megan’s Law for allegations on Feb. 24 in Hamlin Township, but the charge was dismissed, according to court records.
Shroyer, who has been incarcerated since April 29, was released Monday, court records indicated.
