RIDGWAY — A Tuesday morning fire that damaged the Main Street Tavern along Main Street in Ridgway Borough has been ruled accidental in nature.
Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal Trooper Russell Stewart said the fire, which started at 6 a.m. Tuesday at 135 Main St., was electrical in nature. The owner is listed as Robert Schloder, 59, of Johnsonburg.
The damage was estimated at $240,000, Stewart stated. He did not report any injuries.
Fire departments from Ridgway, Johnsonburg and St. Marys all assisted at the scene, and the Ridgway Fire Department also took part in the investigation alongside state police.
