SMETHPORT — Kasey Raubenstrauch tallied 16 points and Jake Sheldon added 10 to carry Johnsonburg to a 61-18 non-league win over Smethport.
The Rams held the Hubbers (0-1) scoreless in the first period, taking a 14-0 lead.
“We are a really young team,” Smethport coach Jay Acker said. “We are basically a group of sophomores with a couple underclassmen. We are going to take our lumps early on.
“We’ll learn from this and we’ll get better.”
