ALLEGANY, N.Y. — The Cattaraugus County Arts Council will once again assemble fine artists and artisans in the region for the Winter Arts Festival, to be held Nov. 19-20 at the Holiday Valley Lodge in Ellicottville.
There, visitors will find original handmade gifts for their holiday shopping list from among the booths displaying paintings, prints, photographs, pottery, jewelry, baskets, wood carving and fiber arts.
This year’s participating artists include John Balacki (painting), Judson Brown (painting), Evelyn Brumwell (fiber), Charlotte Cappellino (painting, printmaking and photography), Len Curran (jewelry), Pamela Delyannis (ceramics), Bev Fehringer (ceramics), Marshall Green (ceramics), Karen Fitzpatrick (glass), Elliott Hutten (ceramics), Myra Johnston (painting, drawing and wood), Tom Martin (photography), Laura McCormick (jewelry), Keith McKale (wood), Deborah Moyer (jewelry), Rose Nuszkowski (glass), Ellen Paquette (painting and fiber), Carolyn Raine (jewelry), Bobby Sader (wood), Greg Souchik (painting), Jesse Szalc (wood), Eileen Weishan (Fiber), Michael Weishan (photography), Carey Welch (painting), Maria Welka (jewelry and mixed media), Mikel Wintermantel (painting), Lisa Yohon (jewelry) and Robin Zefers Clark (painting).
The Winter Arts Festival is produced by the Cattaraugus County Arts Council with special support from Holiday Valley Lodge, the Ellicottville Times and the Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development and Tourism. The event is free and the hours of the sale are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 19 and noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 20.
