RIDGWAY — Ridgway-based state police are investigating the attempted burglary of Clarion River Beverage early Wednesday morning.
Sometime between 6:37 and 7:52 a.m., someone attempted to enter the business by kicking the door, and attempting to peel the metal away from the outer shell of the building.
The building was not entered, but police said the culprit did about $1,000 worth of damage during the attempt at entry.
The investigation continues.
