SMETHPORT — A Bradford man was sentenced on Thursday in McKean County Court to a jail term for possessing a stolen handgun.
Christopher R. Goldthwait, 23, will serve nine to 18 months in McKean County Jail with credit for 155 days of credit for time served and 5 ½ months of probation for a charge of receiving stolen property. He pleaded guilty Jan. 14 to allegations that on Sept. 3, 2015, he received a .22 caliber handgun that was stolen from a New York state home.
Robert L. Jackson, 22, of Buffalo, N.Y., will serve three to 18 months in McKean County Jail with credit for 73 days of time served on a charge of possession with the intent to sell a controlled substance. On Jan. 28, Jackson pleaded guilty to allegations that on Nov. 24, 2015, he delivered just under 1 gram of heroin.
Darrell D. Antrim, 53, of Port Allegany, will serve 15 days to 18 months in McKean County Jail with credit for one day of time served on charges of simple assault and possession of drug paraphernalia. On Aug. 18, 2015, Antrim grabbed a woman by the throat and pushed her at a window, according to information he pleaded guilty to Jan. 14.
Roy L. Barclay, 67, of Derrick City, was cleared of indecent assault charges. Court records indicate President Judge John Pavlock granted a motion to nolle pros the charges on Wednesday. Barclay had been scheduled for a pre-trial conference on Thursday, which was cancelled.
Zachery A. Parslow, 27, of Bradford, will serve 49 days to 12 months in McKean County Jail with credit for 49 days of time served on charges of receiving stolen property and driving under the influence of alcohol.
William R. Schoonover, 21, of Bradford, will serve five days to 12 months in McKean County Jail with credit for five days of time served on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary charge.
Shane M. Hurlburt, 26, of Kane, will serve 90 days to six months in McKean County Jail with credit for 90 days of time served and 12 months of probation on a charge of defiant trespassing.
Carolyn K. McCanna, 48, of Bradford, will serve 12 months of probation on a charge of simple assault.
Christian C. Clark, 26, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. According to Assistant District Attorney Sean Barrett, on Sept. 12, 2015, Clark struck a woman with a broom handle and brandished the handle at her. He will be sentenced March 10.
Kristie L. Miller, 40, of Bradford, will serve six months of probation on a charge of driving under the influence of hydrocodone and oxycodone and a summary charge.
Casey R. Gilcrease, 23, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. On Dec. 4, 2015, Gilcrease engaged in a fight on East Washington Street in Bradford, Barrett said. He will be sentenced Feb. 11.
Robert A. Kelly, 55, of Smethport, will pay fines and costs for summary charges of accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, failure to stop and give information/render aid and failure to notify change in address.
