Bradford City Police reported Friday afternoon that Kwik Fill burglary suspect Timothy L. Witter has been captured.
According to police, they alerted New York State Police of Witter’s believed whereabouts earlier on Friday, and state police took Witter — an Olean, N.Y., resident — into custody. Olean City Police assisted state police in their efforts.
Witter will be extradited to McKean County for arraignment on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft and loitering. Police reported on Thursday that Witter forcibly entered the Kwik Fill mini mart on East Main Street through a glass door around 3:30 a.m. that day.
His image was captured on store surveillance footage, and he was identified through tips from the public and investigation.
