BRADFORD — The Penn-York Junior Golf League moved to Pine Acres Golf Course on Monday with a lighter turnout than usual.

But those who showed up brought their A-game, featuring some of the best scoring of the season across all divisions.

Evan Maloney (Chautauqua Golf Club) claimed the boys’ Division I (16-18 years old) title for the second time this season, shooting an even-par 72 to edge Owen Wright (Cardinal Hills), who carded a 73.

In Division II (14-15), Donovan Palumbo (Emporium) earned his first win of the season with an 82, topping Kael Riekofsky (Smethport CC) at 83. Kaysen Beaver (Cardinal Hills) won Division III (12-13) with a 40, while Carter Crabtree (Chautauqua Golf Course) finished second with a 41.

Keegan Smith (Bavarian Hills), meanwhile, made history in Division IV (11-and-under), firing an extraordinary 29 to shatter the all-time divisional record in Penn-York’s 57-year history. Griffin Beaver (Cardinal Hills) was second with a 41.

Molly Burnett (Bartlett CC) and Ally Sikora (Orchard Park) both recorded a 114 in the girls’ 18-hole Division I, with Burnett taking the title on a tiebreaker. Alaina Hirliman (Birch Run) won the nine-hole division for the fourth-straight week with a 44.
