Amnesty slams Nigeria army for abuses in Boko Haram battle

LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) — Nigerian military abuses have caused the deaths of some 8,000 civilians in the fight against Boko Haram extremists, Amnesty International said in a report released Wednesday.
