Pitt-Bradford women
It was far from the prettiest game you will see, but the Lady Panthers showed toughness in a 70-56 win over Hilbert. The 21 points from the bench to start the game led by Carly Dalton (18 points) and Madison Krebs (14 points) who both had career highs. These ladies were THE reason Pitt-Bradford is now 4-2 in the AMCC.

A 30-11 run by Hilbert to start the second half doomed UPB in its 87-75 loss. It was a disappointing end to what was a promising first 15 minutes for the Panthers, who had a chance to make a statement against one of the AMCC’s best. On the positive side, the play of freshmen Justin Quiggle and Colton Holzwarth off the bench was a major plus. Holzwarth gives the Panthers big time toughness on the defensive end and Quiggle is a pure shooter who was on tonight with a career-high 13 points.

Oswayo Valley 85, Bucktail 63 – This was a big time statement for the Green Wave. They lost to Bucktail by two in their season opener and returned the favor in a big way with a season-high in points. Grant Nolan had 24 points and Spencer Howard 20 coming off a competitive loss to NTL favorite Smethport the night before. OV (6-4) looks to be a team on the rise.
