School. Tanner Bechtl’s RBI single tied the game at 8-8.
Also leading the Panthers were John Callahan (2-for-4, 2-run
homer, double), Ryan Snyder (1-for-4, solo home run), Dom Morelli

Later Monday, the Panthers (5-2) extended their win streak to

struck out three, walked two and gave up one hit. Wells also saw
mound duties, pitching 5-plus innings and striking out seven.
“The first game was a good win,” Pitt-Bradford coach Bret Butler
said. “It was a high-intensity game. Aurora won 35 games last year
and went to regionals. A year before that they went to the College
World Series.
“The guys were resilient and we got a great win. The club showed
a lot of intestinal fortitude.
“Against Wheaton we could have had big letdown. We battled and
came back to score four in the ninth to win it. Everyone had a part
in the win. We showed a lot of guts and heart.”
The Panthers play 17th-ranked DeSales University at 2 p.m. EST
Wednesday.
