PAINESVILLE, Ohio – Angela Bethel scored 20 points and Melissa
Woods 12 to lift Lake Erie College to a 53-51 win over
Pitt-Bradford in an AMCC basketball game Saturday.

Also in double figures for the winners was Sarah Miller (11
points).

Leading the Lady Panthers (6-9, 4-4) were Katie Moore with 15
tallies and Rose Wilken with 11.

Lake Erie rallied from a 26-19 deficit at intermission to pull
out the win.

“We have tried different combinations to see if we could get a
spark offensively,” UPB coach Daly Fuller said. “We never settled
into our offense tonight and took the first open look we had. Lake
Erie played their game.”
