CC, O-E, Coudy girls roll to NTL wins

EMPORIUM — Kaelee Bresslin had four 3-pointers and poured in a game-high 21 points to lead Cameron County to a 48-28 win over visiting Northern Potter.

The Lady Red Raiders (6-7, 5-5) held Northern Potter to just one point in the first quarter and led 10-1 before exploding for 20 in the second for a 30-11 advantage at the intermission.

Morgan Lorenzo (7 points) and Mallory McKimm (6) both had two 3-pointers for Cameron Co.

Aubree Anderson led the Lady Panthers (4-10, 3-6) with seven points. Leading scorer Courtney Martin was limited to just six points in the game.

After a 3-7 start to the season, Cameron County has won three straight.

Otto-Eldred 57, Oswayo Valley 21

DUKE CENTER — Katie Sheeler had 16 points and five steals, teammate Haley Cousins had 11 points, and the Lady Terrors beat OV for the third time this season.

Otto-Eldred (9-4, 7-2) received contributions on the scoreboard from 10 different players, including six rebounds, four points and three assists from Kayley Heller and six points from Morgan Dalton.

The Lady Terrors outscored Oswayo Valley (1-11, 0-8) 19-4 in the first quarter and held the Green Wave to just eight points in the first half.

Macy West was in double-figures for the third time in the last four games with 11 points.

SMETHPORT — Leading 21-6 after the first quarter, the Lady Falcons allowed just one point — a made free throw from Sabrina Tanner — over the game’s final 24 minutes to secure a ninth straight NTL win.

Lauren Stimaker had 16 points for Coudy (10-2, 9-0) and hit a game-high two 3-pointers. Sarah Chambers contributed 14 points and Elizabeth Frame added 10.

Wednesday’s win marked the fifth time this season that the Lady Falcons held an opponent to 20 points or fewer.

Erin Herzog had four points for Smethport (6-7, 4-5).

Galeton 38, Austin 22

AUSTIN — In an otherwise even matchup, free throws sent Galeton to a 38-22 win over Austin.

The Lady Tigers (3-10, 2-6) made just one more field goal than Austin on the night (12-11) but went 14-for-23 from the charity stripe, while Austin went 0-for-5.

Jessie Evans led Galeton with 10 points, four assists, five steals and four rebounds, while Lauren Sauley chipped in six points and 10 boards.

Austin (3-11, 2-7) was paced by Kendra Valenti’s 10 points and Kylie Welsh’s four.
