An Eldred man is in McKean County Jail after he allegedly assaulted a female during an argument.
Colton J. Milliron, 29, of 17 Seal Lane, was arraigned Monday before District Judge David Engman on charges of aggravated assault-attempts to cause serious bodily injury with extreme indifference to the value of human life, a first-degree felony; strangulation, aggravated indecent assault-forcible compulsion and aggravated indecent assault without consent, second-degree felonies; indecent assault-forcible compulsion, a first-degree misdemeanor; false imprisonment, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and indecent assault without consent, second-degree misdemeanors; and summary charges of harassment and criminal mischief.
According to the criminal complaint, at 2:36 p.m. Saturday, Lewis Run-based state police were dispatched to Eldred Township, where a female told the trooper that an argument between her and Milliron turned physical, with Milliron allegedly pushing her to the ground and putting his hand over her mouth, making it difficult for her to breath.
He ripped her watch off her wrist when she was trying to call 911, then threw her cell phone away from her, the complaint alleged. He also allegedly forcibly removed her pants and touched her genitals.
The trooper observed red scratches on the female’s forehead, neck, shoulder and back, and a gate and Apple watch located at the scene were broken, court records stated.
Milliron is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 8.
