ORDINANCE
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Roulette Township, Potter County, Pennsylvania amended the previously proposed Solar Energy System Ordinance, Ordinance #2025-01 and plan to adopt this Ordinance at their next scheduled meeting on November 20, 2025.
The proposed Ordinance, tentatively titled “Solar Energy System Ordinance” will address the following:
1) Application Process
2) General Requirements and Design Standards
3) Local Emergency Services involvement and training
4) Decommissioning –Cessation and/ or abandonment of solar system.
This Ordinance is to regulate the construction, operation and decommissioning of Solar Energy Facilities with Roulette Township.
Copies of the full text of the proposed Ordinance are available for examination by any citizens at the Township Office located at 80 River Street, Roulette, PA during normal business hours. The public is welcome to attend the meeting on November 20th.
